Many camping sites on Funen are also located directly on the beach. The beaches along the coasts of Fyn are exceptionally child-friendly. The water is calmer than on the open sea. It is also often a few degrees warmer – and who could complain about that?

Billevænge Camping is a peaceful site in beautiful surroundings of woodland and fields. You can always find shelter from the wind here – close to an excellent sandy beach. In the middle of the site there is a beautiful lake (with a safe fence around it) where the frogs croak and the ducklings play with the green-legged moorhens. The woods offer food for the birds and drumming of woodpeckers. From the middle of May until far into June you can enjoy the beautiful song of the nightingale.

Blommenslyst Camping is a delightful site, with a lake. Our small “paradise”, as we call it, is near Odense on the fairy-tale island of Fyn. Everyone can enjoy a holiday here, as we strive to make everything as comfortable as possible. We have great pitches for campers, caravans, auto campers or tent trailers. Our little paradise can accommodate 60 tents, caravans, auto campers or tent trailers. We also have seven cabins, and eight caravans, so we can hire out sleeping space for 50 people. All our cabins have four berths, a coffee machine, fridge, crockery, cutlery, pans and electric heating. The larger cabins have gas cookers as extra. All our caravans have furniture for 2-5 people. Standard equipment is a coffee machine, crockery, cutlery and cooking pans (fridges or electric heating as optional extras).

Carlsberg Camping is a campsite that turns the spotlight on children. Children-friendly leisure pool complex with slide, children’s pool and bubble pool. Opportunities for all kinds of water sports and lots of good fishing (we are part of the project Sea Trout Eldorado – Fyn County). The site is suitable for the disabled. Play castle, bonfire site and bouncy cushion, 10 x 13 m. Mini-golf, cosy lounge and café. Lots of this to do and see, unique cycling and walking routes. Perfect family camping. Lovely campsite in the east of Thurø, a stone’s throw from a child-friendly beach. Right next door there is an attractive and fun minigolf course. Cabins, some with shower and toilet. Family room and all facilities. Good fishing and surfing.Egeskov Castle, with its Vintage Car Museum is just 15 km away. Svendborg, with its steep alleys and winding roads, is also definitely worth visiting. Valdemar’s Castle, on Tåsinge was built between 1639 and 1644 by King Christian IV. It has an outstanding art collection and is an internationally renowned tourist attraction. Bregninge Church is built on a 75 m high elevation which offers views of 63 church towers and spires, 15 manor houses and almost 40 islands and islets. The grave of Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre can be seen in the churchyard at Landet on Tåsinge. Pitch fee only applies from 14/6 to 16/8. NB: Free hot water!
